Volunteering SA and NT
Volunteering SA&NT services include advice to government, training for volunteers and volunteer involving organisations, volunteer referrals, research and policy development. An Aboriginal Reference Group works in partnership with Volunteering SA & NT (VSA&NT) to advance volunteering in Aboriginal and wider Australian communities. In addition to volunteer referrals, Volunteering SA & NT also offer a Student Placement Program in partnership with the South Australia Institute of Business Technology.
The Centre for Volunteering (NSW)
The Centre for Volunteering includes Volunteering NSW - a service-delivery arm, and the School of Volunteer Management, a registered training organisation. The Centre connects people and organisations through referral, training, resource development, information and education services to help people get involved in their communities, and enhance the capacity and skills of not-for-profit organisations, corporations and government to become involved in the community.
Australian Indigenous Governance Institute
The Australian Indigenous Governance Institute (AIGI) connects Indigenous groups, individuals and organisations to world-class best-practice expertise and knowledge, with a focus on building sustainable, effective and legitimate governance on the ground.
Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation
Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) is the native title representative body for the Traditional Owners of the Pilbara, Murchison and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia. YMAC’s representative area covers over 1 million square kilometres, with offices in Geraldton, Hedland, Tom Price and Perth.
Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA)
The Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) is an Australian Government Statutory Authority established on July 1 1994 under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission Act 1989, which is today known as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Act 2005.
