The Kariyarra Aboriginal Corporation is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate of the Kariyarra People. Established in 2016, our focus as a not-for-profit organisation is to provide native title and related services, to support the Kariyarra People in managing their native title rights and interests.
The Kariyarra people live in and around town of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region, in the north-west of Western Australia, encompassing country from Port Hedland west to the Sherlock River and south to the Yule River.
Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (KNAC) is the Native Title representative group for the Nyiyaparli People.
The Nyiyaparli People are the Traditional Owners of approximately 36,684 square kilometres of land and waters in the east Pilbara region, including the township of Newman, Western Australia.
The PBC website acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and their continuing
connection to land, culture and community.
