TAFE SA offers training across more than 80 activity and industry-related areas with a wide range of courses and flexible study options. TAFE SA also has an Aboriginal Access Centre that facilitates education, training and support for Aboriginal students across 17 sites of TAFE SA, including regional and remote South Australia.

Batchelor Institute Graduate School offers higher degree by research programs in Indigenous Perspectives, at the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master by Research levels.

Students uncover the necessary dimensions of successful adult learning – such as confidence, resilience and the ability to learn new things.

The Northern Territory Council of Social Service (NTCOSS) provides a calendar of training for community or not-for-profit sector organisations. The programs specifically include training in governance and financial management.

The courses offered are the first of a series of online training materials that Queensland Government is developing to complement the native title work procedures and decision making tools.

The Diploma of Educational Studies is a versatile one year qualification that provides you with opportunities to undertake a range of roles in diverse educational settings. Depending on state and territory requirements these include: supporting teachers in school age education (education aide, teacher's aide and assistant teacher) or working as an educator in out of school hours care services.

This qualification reflects the role of personnel working in community coordination and facilitation, which focuses on fostering, promoting and supporting community development, particularly in rural communities that are engaged in land management activities. This course is delivered online.

The Diploma of Business Studies is designed to reflect general business degree course objectives and build towards the graduate attributes of Charles Darwin University. These attributes describe creative, flexible and socially responsible graduates who are able to acquire, understand and apply concepts and knowledge with a high level of skills in communication, leadership and team work.

Jobs Victoria – through the Victorian Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) – has provided funding to VCOSS and the Future Social Services Institute (FSSI) to deliver the Community Traineeship Pilot Program to young Victorian job seekers, to address youth unemployment and increased workforce demand in the community services industry.

Charles Darwin University (CDU) offers Vocational Education and Training and higher education. CDU has an Indigenous Alternative Entry Program for Indigenous students, who do not meet the entry requirements for an undergraduate degree.

This course provides skills and knowledge for those working or seeking work in government investigations or regulatory compliance. Investigation processes including gathering and recording evidence and interview techniques will be taught with other skills essential to employment in the public sector including values and ethics.

Gain practical skills for the business sector and beyond with a Certificate IV in Business. You’ll learn to effectively manage the office administration aspects of a business, and gain a focused understanding of today’s business world.
