The next Juukan Gorge? Concerns over proposed excavation around another Indigenous site

Magazine Hill, located on the site of the New Century mine, was traditionally used as a camp site for recently initiated men. The Waanyi Native Title Aboriginal Corporation agreed to excavation around the hill. A group of Waanyi elders is trying to stop the excavation for fears the hill will be damaged or destroyed.
