This qualification can provide skills that will enable you to provide support for the effective functioning of a business in a range of industry areas.

This qualification covers the competencies required for independent and self-directed work in the public sector. It is suited to those working in an environment where there is a range of responsibilities which are diverse in nature rather than within a narrow specialization and/or they work in small or regionally based organisations.

TAFE SA offers training across more than 80 activity and industry-related areas with a wide range of courses and flexible study options. TAFE SA also has an Aboriginal Access Centre that facilitates education, training and support for Aboriginal students across 17 sites of TAFE SA, including regional and remote South Australia.

Training Services NSW has created the Aboriginal Initiatives unit to manage a number of programs. These programs focus on providing workplace mentoring, improving access to employment and training and creating business opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Volunteering SA & NT provide free and low cost training for volunteers, volunteer managers/co-ordinators and volunteering-involving organisations. Sessions are interesting, informative and inspiring and offer straightforward suggestions for dealing with all matters volunteering.
