Jobs Victoria – through the Victorian Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) – has provided funding to VCOSS and the Future Social Services Institute (FSSI) to deliver the Community Traineeship Pilot Program to young Victorian job seekers, to address youth unemployment and increased workforce demand in the community services industry.

This qualification reflects the varied roles of individuals across different industry sectors who apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.

Volunteering SA & NT provide free and low cost training for volunteers, volunteer managers/co-ordinators and volunteering-involving organisations. Sessions are interesting, informative and inspiring and offer straightforward suggestions for dealing with all matters volunteering.
