The Irretyepwenty Ywentent Pwert Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC was recognised as the nominated prescribed body corporate on 5 April 2017. On this date, Griffiths J recognised the Alhankerr, Atwel/Alkwepetye, Ilkewarn, Kwaty, Mpweringke, Ntyerlkem/Urapentye and Tywerl landholding groups native title rights and interests in parts of the determination area. The area subject to this determination are part of the NT Portion 703 and NT Portions 1281, 1282 and 5014.
