AICD offers a range of courses designed for the professional development of company directors. Courses topics such as governance, finance and strategy and risks and are of varying lengths, including short intensive courses, residential courses, webinars and e-learning options.

Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, in partnership with Charles Darwin University (CDU), has offered the following courses in Applied Social Science: Diploma of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledges (YATSI1); Bachelor of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advocacy (BATSIA); Associate Degree of Applied Social Science (XASSO1), Bachelor of Applied Social Science (WASSO1).

Business SA offers courses to promote and enhance organisational capacity and personal capacities in the business world.

The Cape York Leaders Program supports the development of current and future Cape York leaders. The four phases of the Cape York Leaders Program are: academic, youth, skilling and excelling leaders.

The Centre for Community Welfare Training (CCWT) provides cost effective and accessible training opportunities for people working across the community welfare sector in NSW, in particular those working with vulnerable children, young people and families. 

This qualification reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services.

Jobs Victoria – through the Victorian Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) – has provided funding to VCOSS and the Future Social Services Institute (FSSI) to deliver the Community Traineeship Pilot Program to young Victorian job seekers, to address youth unemployment and increased workforce demand in the community services industry.

The Diploma of Business Studies is designed to reflect general business degree course objectives and build towards the graduate attributes of Charles Darwin University. These attributes describe creative, flexible and socially responsible graduates who are able to acquire, understand and apply concepts and knowledge with a high level of skills in communication, leadership and team work.

This qualification reflects the role of personnel working in community coordination and facilitation, which focuses on fostering, promoting and supporting community development, particularly in rural communities that are engaged in land management activities. This course is delivered online.

Foundation for Young Australians turns the knowledge gained from our research into action, co-designing programs and events for young people, with young people in collaboration with educational institutions and government as well as corporate and philanthropic partners.

The Management Support Unit of the New South Wales Council of Social Services (NCOSS) provides a register of management and governance training being offered by not-for-profit organisations across NSW.

The database compiles courses available from training providers.

Training courses at various levels covering a wide range of topics including:

• Business and management
• Conservation and land management
• Community service 

Some courses are only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

VCOSS Link is a centralised community sector-specific service, designed to assist community sector organisations in Victoria to search for relevant practical resources and training opportunities to further develop their capacity.
