The Northern Territory Council of Social Service (NTCOSS) provides a calendar of training for community or not-for-profit sector organisations. The programs specifically include training in governance and financial management.

The workshops is covering a range of topics from record keeping and tax essentials through to employer obligation, taxable payments reporting and more.

This workshop provides a basic introduction to understanding finances in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations. Topics include Directors responsibilities, Bookkeepers, accountants and auditors, Reading and understanding financial statements and budgeting.

Volunteering SA & NT provide free and low cost training for volunteers, volunteer managers/co-ordinators and volunteering-involving organisations. Sessions are interesting, informative and inspiring and offer straightforward suggestions for dealing with all matters volunteering.
