Need help on managing your business, or want to get training? There are a number of free and low-cost webinars, events and online training packages available to help you.

Various federal and state government agencies and departments run training for small businesses. These are run by professionals working in the relevant fields. These workshops and webinars cover topics related to tax, record keeping and advertising.

CIT provides a range of training courses at various levels covering a wide range of topics including:

• Business and management
• Conservation and land management
• Community service

The Yurauna Centre is a dedicated Indigenous student support centre at CIT.

This program is designed for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people either wishing to enter or already working in the community services sector. 

The Diploma of Educational Studies is a versatile one year qualification that provides you with opportunities to undertake a range of roles in diverse educational settings. Depending on state and territory requirements these include: supporting teachers in school age education (education aide, teacher's aide and assistant teacher) or working as an educator in out of school hours care services.

The IMW and its strategic partners are dedicated to the development and advancement of culturally appropriate and inclusive geospatial technologies for Indigenous leadership, agencies, and communities to support Indigenous rights and interests.  

The Northern Territory Council of Social Service (NTCOSS) provides a calendar of training for community or not-for-profit sector organisations. The programs specifically include training in governance and financial management.

This workshop provides a basic introduction to understanding finances in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations. Topics include Directors responsibilities, Bookkeepers, accountants and auditors, Reading and understanding financial statements and budgeting.
