Overview

The Bromley Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC holds land in trust for the Wuthathi, Kuuku Ya’u and Northern Kaanju Peoples of North Eastern Cape York. Their native title rights and interests were recognised in the Wuthathi, Kuuku Ya’u & Northern Kaanju Peoples consent determination in April 2015.

The Wuthathi, Kuuku Ya’u and Northern Kaanju People filed an application for determination in May 2002 over the pastoral holdings known as Bromley and Boynton.

The determination recognised the exclusive and non-exclusive native title rights and interests of the Wuthathi, the Kuuku Ya’u, the Northern Kaanju People and the country shared jointly by the Wuthathi People and the Kuuku Ya’u People.
